Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 has officially launched at Apple Park in Cupertino. Last night, Tech-Riese held a presentation of the keynote speech. This announcement introduces a new generation of operating systems. This is now called iOS 26 instead of iOS 19. The operating system brings a major redesign to the user interface using Liquid Glass Design through the device. The new iOS 26 interface has become a topic of discussion, but Apple has also introduced Apple Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered features, and some exciting new features. Although the announcement of KI wasn't as big as last year, the new operating system has several useful features, improvements and even integrations with IPHONE, iPad, Mac and even Apple Watch. Apple officially renamed the operating system this year. At WWDC25, Apple has announced an iOS version number that matches the year of publication. So the new iOS 26, iPados 26, Macos 26, WatchOS 26, TVOS 26, Visionos 26 are referenced. It aims to simplify understanding between newer versions of the operating system based on the year. The iOS 26 developer beta is beginning to exchange ideas, with public betas released in July being confirmed.
In addition to the user interface, Apple also redesigned its first layer app, bringing a simplified surface. The camera app receives separate tabs for videos and photos, as well as a new toolbar that allows users to switch modes such as portraits, film, and more. The phone app also receives new user interfaces, including new panels of favorites, reviewers and voicemail. The Safari app has been redesigned for a new, seamless experience.
Apple has introduced a dedicated gaming hub for Mac, iPhone and iPad. The gaming app allows users to start and discover arcade games. This app lets you know what your friends will play, invite them to follow challenges, rankings, access to communication tools, audio controls and more in one place.
Although Apple Intelligence was not an important part of WWDC. However, Apple has announced new features and upgrades to AI functions. First, iOS 26 includes new live translation functions that break the language barrier through the first provider app. Visual Intelligence gets a massive upgrade with on-screen search capacity. This will help users buy products they find on social media, chat questions and more. Additionally, Apple has announced upgrades to Gemoji and Image Playground.
This is an important announcement for WWDC25. This is because Apple has presented a new hub that allows Apple to access large voice models offline and devices. This allows app developers to add new AI functions. Apple also announced Kahoot and created quiz questions based on handwritten notes. iPads 26 New Window System: This year, Apple will make iPad features more like the iPad 26's Mac. One of the upgrades is a new window system where users can access more windows, change app windows, access on-screen apps, new menu bars, and more. So, if you're multitasking, your iPad is seamless and works. Additionally, iPad receives the 26 Macs Preview -App and accesses files and photos.
Apple Watch. This calls Apple Intelligence integration for fitness tracking and in-app features. With Watchos 26, Apple introduces new training buddies that provide users with coaching, training overviews and more. Other WatchOS upgrades are wrist gestures such as notifications, smart stacks, and live translations.
With the new MacOS upgrade, Apple offers excellent AI integration and improvements in Spotlight functions. This is smarter. Spotlight now allows you to find files, documents, apps and other related elements on your device. It can also be used to send emails, create notes, and play podcasts. It also analyzes user activity for personalized actions and experiences. Visionos 26 Upgrade: Apple introduces spatial widgets that allow users to adapt frame width, color, depth, and more. This update also brings personas to improve the digital representation of users.
